Here the kids are waiting for their turn at the relay race. We joined a group of homeschoolers for a day at the park last week. Most of the kids were 2nd grade and older, but that didn't stop my girls...they were in the middle of it the whole time - and had a BLAST!! I met some really neat people and the kids were so...were so...how do I say..."polite!!" Now I know there are polite kids that aren't homeschoolers, but, down here...we haven't run into a whole lot of them (except the kids at church). Anyway, it was very refreshing to have my kids just automatically make friends because they all had something in common - home school. Now the kids can hardly wait until we do it again.
Here is Logan getting ready to race and Mariah doing just what she was told. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of Victoria, otherwise known as "Miss Speedy Fast!". I guess she was just too fast for the camera!! In fact, one of the ladies saw her speed by and said "and who said you can't run in a skirt" - you go girl!! And I sit back and wonder...is this starting to feel like home?
