Our trip to Hawaii was wonderful. It is hard to believe it has already come and gone. We enjoyed being with some wonderful people that enjoyed the same things as us...sleeping in, eating cheap, laying in the sun, walking around - very slowly, and the guys enjoyed a lot of snorkeling. We all talked about our 5, 10 and 15 year plans for Hawaii. The company sends their Managers to Hawaii every 5 years. Our 5 year plan is to have a little bit more money and all of us will rent a car together so we can tour the island. Frankly, we were glad we didn't have a car because we didn't have anywhere to go - which meant more lounging, strolling, relaxing and laughing - a lot of laughing. This trip gave us some much needed rest and we are so glad we went. Thank you to everyone who helped us go on this trip...it was definitely worth it.
As for the kids, they had a blast with grandparents, family, and friends back in Oregon. I don't think they had time to think about missing us...which is a good thing. It was a long time to be without them, but I don't think they really cared - they were having too much fun!!

It looks like you had a very nice quiet and relaxing time in Hawaii. So happy for you. After the last few months of excitement and such change I know you needed it. It was so good to have your children with us for the week. The quiz on Saturday was a blast. Logan was definately an asset to our team. Then Mom n Dad Swank were so gracious to allow Andrue to come over after church on Sunday and hang out w/the Swank Boys. They had such a good time. Memories for ever more. Love and miss you all. The Blacks.
